• GENERAL

  • Implemented a new notifications system, now you can get an email when your project export is ready. It’s also possible to set up notification emails from the UNI-Cloud tab in the export section of the side menu.

  • Improvements for updating user settings.

  • The number of items per page for displayed data in tables is now saved per table. This means that if - for instance - you set a number of items per page of 100 in the Projects section, the next time you come back to that same table in the same web browser, the number of items per page will be 100 instead of the default one.

• EXPORTS

  • The Exports section receives live updates now: this means there is no need to reload the page to check if an export is ready. Its state will update automatically as soon as it either is ready or failed.

  • Failed or completed exports can now be deleted by admins.

• UNICASTER

  • Launched the beta version of the UNICASTER. The UNICASTER is an NTRIP 2 caster developed at marXact that can be used now by marXact users. You set it up in the “NTRIP Caster“ section in the UNI-Cloud app’s side menu.

• SURVEY

  • Layers table now supports pagination: this improves loading times.

  • Styling improvements in the project view: as of now, the project name is shown in the top left corner of the project view.

  • When creating a project or importing data, the CRS (Coordinate Reference System) form field now features a search box.

  • The project view now allows turning on and off labels for entities displayed on the map.

  • Added object overview panel in the project view: now all objects (points, polylines, polygons) belonging to the project can be easily examined.

  • Adding snapping to objects feature: from the object overview panel, it’s possible to snap to an object. This way and when the desired object is located, you can get to it with the click of a button.

• BUG FIXES

  • Fixed email validation issues on the account page.

  • Fixed getting a “Page not Found“ error each time the app was refreshed or when navigating sometimes to other pages.

  • Fixed issues around the data loading indicator, as it was still shown even when data was already loaded.

This is UNI-Cloud app version 4.0.0! A lot of work has been put into it and it gathers many features and bug fixes.

• GENERAL

  • Improvements for supporting multiple languages.

  • Improvements and changes in the permission system: administrators are now able to change user roles. Users are now not allowed to delete projects.

• EXPORTS

  • Export format is now shown on the exports table.

• SURVEY

  • Added a Klic viewer accessible from the project view. This tool is truly useful for dutch users, as it allows them to add an extra layer to their projects containing information regarding where pipes, wires and other appliances are already present in the area being surveyed.

  • Projects can now be exported to CSV, DXF and DWG through the use of a band new and improved export dialog accessible from the project view. The export dialog also allows switching between 2d and 3d exports and also between exporting the whole project or specific layers.

  • Projects now allow imports through the new imports wizard. Now it’s possible to import CSV, DXF and DWG files in the supported coordinate reference systems (CRS's).

  • When exporting to CSV, the export dialog now allows choosing between the EU and US/UK delimiters.

• BUG FIXES

  • Fixed small bug related with a permission issue with accessing the devices section.

  • Fixed several issues around the new Klic functionality: performance improvements and some times getting an error “Klic not available“.
